Zaha Cluster Deep Curve Ring
The curve collection was inspired by the “queen of the curve”, Zaha Hadid, who was known for playing with all 360 degrees of the angle. The organic series aims to seamlessly allow the metal, stone, and skin to flow into one.
The Cluster Deep Curve Ring simultaneously recalls South Indian Vanki rings, first introduced to us by our customer Poornima. We fell in love with how these rings elongated and beautifully hugged the bride’s finger with its unique design. We kept the shape of the ring the same but added a more modern twist for those who are looking to have a more current look while still respecting the culture and tradition. The significance of the ring is quite special as the inverted-V-shaped ring has the power to protect its holder in their new journey and in warding off all negative energy.
We wanted to showcase a different take to this beautiful ancient style to bring tribute and display South Indian culture to a wider audience. Vanki rings are traditionally worn after the wedding.
